To the Editor: The SENIORS of CANADA, after numerous elections in Canada with repetitive broken promises, say..." It should not be a difficult task to decide which party should be hired to manage the out of control bureaucracy and govern Canada the best in the May 2 election.
The SEPARATISTS, LIBERALS and NDP should all be ousted for their blatant lust for power causing an expensive and foolish 300 million dollar election that Canadians did not want. Are they so lustful for power and perks, that they could not see that $300 million dollars could have gone a long way towards seniors increased pensions? The families of these parents, grandparents and great grandparents, should now be OUTRAGED FOR THAT, as it now dumps an added burden on them to have to assist their parents and grandparents in their declining years.
We SENIORS... can point out why it should be easy to finally hire a majority government. Examine these blatant reasons.
Look what Barretts NDP gov't did to BC;
Look what David Peterson's Liberals did to Ontario;
Look what Bob Rae's NDP also did to Ontario;
Look what the NDP did to Saskatchewan;
Look what Chretiens Liberals did to Canada... ripping off Canadians for multi-millions of dollars in their international scandal, (never to be recovered ), and to which Chretien scoffed on national TV, "What's a few million dollars?"
Look at how the Liberals used their CBC-TV half hour national TV program with host Hana Gartner, Mike Morrison, Liberal strategist, and David Peterson, ousted ex-Liberal premier of Ontario, to assassinate the character of Preston Manning and the REFORM Party;
Look at what Chretiens Liberals did to Canadian voters by making the fractional SEPARATIST PARTY, the OFFICIAL OPPOSITION PARTY rather than Preston Mannings Reform Party (which he could have done). He appointed fellow Quebecers that he could rely on to keep the Liberals in power... because he was petrified of the up-start Reformers;
Look at the platform and national stage he gave the SEPARATISTS to have Lucien Bouchard to spew his venom toward English Canadians saying he liked Americans better, all the while the Liberals are quiet as SEPARATISTS burned our Canadian Flag (Remember watching the National News about it?)
Do Canadians again want to be governed by SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS, a favorite platform used by LIBERAL GOV'T's?
We SENIORS have seen Canadians pay dearly for these Liberal, NDP and Separatist MP's many who are strangers to the truth and have costly gov't coffers multi-millions of dollars. So... younger voters and maybe FIRST TIME VOTERS, heed what we SENIORS have actually experienced over many elections, and for your first time, pay no mind to the media and TV hype that creates more confusion than offering intelligent election information.
Your sensible vote WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE to hire a majority Conservative government May 2. Submitted for all Canadian Seniors.
