Kyle Furness appeared in Yorkton provincial court Thursday, August 4 via teleconference on two charges, first degree murder in the death of Jimmy Ray Wiebe, and a second charge of breaking and entering the Esso Super-C on June 20.
Furness elected to waive a preliminary trial and appear in front of a Queen's Bench judge with no jury for both charges.
As of press time the date of the trial had not yet been set.
