Recently 14 students from the Yorkton Martial Arts Training Center took part in the sixth annual Young Tigers Open Martial Arts Tournament and provincial championships. The group brought home an impressive number of gold, silver and bronze awards.
Adam Rusnak was crowned 2011 provincial champion for point sparring in his category.
Mason Devos-Payne won a double gold and has been invited join to Team Canada competing in Villars, Switzerland at the end of August 2012. Watch for more YMATC athletes and their fundraising events to help send them to Europe.
