Yorkton Clean Spot novices claim B-side title at Melville

The Yorkton Novice Clean Spot Terriers attended a 12 team Novice tournament in Melville over the recent weekend and came out as B side champs.

The Yorkton Novice Clean Spot Terriers attended a 12 team Novice tournament in Melville over the recent weekend and came out as B side champs.

The Clean Spot Terriers played two games Saturday defeating the Melville Hawks 12-4, then losing a hard fought shoot out overtime game against the Moosomin White Rangers.

Sunday the Novice Terriers squared off against the Melville Ice in the B-side semi-final and came out on top with a 12-3 win.

The Clean Spot Terriers then faced the Theodore Grizzlies in the B final game. Six players contributing to the scoreboard as the youngsters pulled out an 8-6 win.
