The Yorkton Harvest got a small measure of retribution over the Tisdale Trojans who man-handled them in two earlier games this season as they staged a narrow 4-3 win over the Trojans on the strength of three powerplay goals in a recent home game at the Farrell Agencies Arena.

The Harvest came out slugging to take a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes. Jake McMillen opened the scoring early in the first period with a powerplay goal assisted by Dakota Odgers and Lynnden Pastachak. Jaden Kreklewich tallied a powerplay goal late in the period assisted by Brayden Park and Josh Lees. With just seven seconds remaining in the period, Kreklewich followed up with his second goal of the game assisted by Lees and Devin McGonigal.

The Trojans rallied with a pair of second period goals to pull within one after two periods. Ty McLean and Dylan Frey each scored once to make it 3-2 for Yorkton.

Kody Thue scored the game winner, a powerplay goal, early in the final frame assisted by Odgers and McMillen.

Jordan Ross capped the scoring to pull Tisdale within one before time ran out to hand Yorkton a 4-3 win.

Unfortunately the Harvest weren't able to capitalize on their momentum Sunday afternoon at the Duncan McNeill Arena as the Notre Dame Argos outshot Yorkton 36-18 to come away with a 5-1 win over the hapless Harvest.

The Argos took a 3-0 lead after the first period on a goal from Justin Kirkland and a pair of goals from Eric Therrien.

Kirk Bear and Calvin Leth each scored once in the second frame to give the Argos a 5-1 lead after two periods of play.

Pastachak scored the lone goal of the final frame to cap game scoring assisted by Kreklewich and Lees.
