The Yorkton Harvest had a good week on the road posting three wins in three games. The Harvest started their winning week with a 5-3 win over the Notre Dame Argos at the Duncan McNeill Arena Thursday night.

The Harvest opened with a three goal first period to take the lead which they held until the final whistle.

Ryley Stefanyshyn opened the scoring early in the period assisted by Denin Boesch and Dustin Minto.

Dustin Skilliter added Yorkton's second goal, a power play marker midway through the period assisted by Kade Halabuza and Ben Johnstone.

Michael Sullmann scored for the Argos to pull Notre Dame within one.

Minto made it 3-1 for the Harvest assisted by Roddy Sewap and Stefanyshyn.

The Harvest added a pair of goals in the second period to put the game out of reach, as Notre Dame was able to respond with a single marker.

Boesch notched a single handed power play goal early in the second frame to make it 4-1 for Yorkton.

Less than a minute later Stefanyshyn added Yorkton's fifth goal assisted by Minto.

Sullmann added his second goal of the game to pull the Argos within two before the second period ran out.

Dustin Antisin capped game scoring with the lone goal of the third period to hand Yorkton a 5-3 win.

Saturday afternoon the Harvest outshot the Swift Current Legionnaires 46-24 on the way to a 4-1 at the Credit Union Iplex for Yorkton's second win of the week.

Following a scoreless first period, Yorkton lit up the scoreboard twice to take a 2-1 lead after 40 minutes.

Johnstone opened the scoring for Yorkton early in the second period assisted by Rylan Bad-duke and Yanni Mamais.

Minto added Yorkton's second marker assisted by Stefanyshyn and Halabuza.

Tanner Froese scored Swift Current's lone goal to round out second period scoring.

Two more goals in the third period sewed up the game for the Yorkton Harvest. Badduke slipped one by the Legionnaire's net minder early in the final frame assisted by Halabuza.

Johnstone capped the game scoring midway through the third period with a solo marker to hand Yorkton a 4-1 win.

In the second game of the two game series with the Legionnaires, the Yorkton Harvest crowned their road week with their third win by defeating the hometown Legionnaires 5-2.

Matthew Audette opened the scoring for Swift Current with an early first period powerplay goal to post a 1-0 lead before Skilliter tied the game assisted by Cable and Johnstone to leave the teams knotted at one after 20 minutes.

The Harvest dominated the scoring in the second period, posting two goals while holding the Legionnaires scoreless.

Kailum Gervais opened second period scoring with an early goal assisted by Cable and Skilliter.

John Odgers scored Yorkton's third goal assisted by Tanner LeSann and Josh Lees.

Two more goals in the final frame put the game away for the Harvest.

Minto capped the game scoring with a late third period marker assisted by Stefanyshyn.

Froese added Swift Current's second goal in the final frame to hand Yorkton a 5-2 win.

The wins pretty much assure the Harvest of a SMAAAHL playoff berth.

The Harvest currently sit in eighth place in SMAAAHL standings with 43 points which ties them with the Tisdale Trojans.

Depending how both Yorkton and Tisdale finish the regular season, will determine final regular season standings.

The Harvest's next home game, their last of the regular season, will take place Saturday, February 18 when they host the visiting Notre Dame Argos at the Farrell Agencies Arena at 7:30 p.m.
