ALIVE WITH COLOR - For the past 16 years the Yorkton In Bloom Committee has promoted the Local Grounds Competition. The Committee is a partnership between City of Yorkton Community Development, Parks & Recreation and the Yorkton & District Horticultural Society. This is an exciting program that focuses on beautification of the city. The initiative was designed to involve the citizens of Yorkton in the challenge of improving the visual appeal of the city, and to compete for local awards.
