The Yorkton Terriers were on the road again this weekend, splitting a pair of games with the Flin Flon Bombers.
Friday night, the Terriers were outshot 34-22 to fall to the Flin Flon Bombers at the Whitney Forum.
Jesse Mychan opened the scoring for Flin Flon to give the bombers a one goal first period edge.
Mychan followed up with his second of the game early in the second frame to make it 2-0 for the Bombers.
Riley Paterson scored Yorkton's lone goal late in the second period to pull the Terriers within one, assisted by Davis Vandane.
Eric Millisor capped the scoring late in the final frame to hand Flin Flon a 3-1 win.
Saturday night the Terriers came out determined to turn things around, outshooting the Bombers 41-32 on the way to a narrow 4-3 win.
Brent Struble lit up the scoreboard for Yorkton early in the first period assisted by Craig Eisenhut and Keon Vick.
Andrew Johnson and Millisor each replied once for Flin Flon to give the bombers a 2-1 lead after 20 minutes.
Struble notched his second of the game to even things up midway through the second period. assisted by Robbie Ciolfi.
Eisenhut gave the Terriers a one goal edge assisted by Struble.
Nathan Murray's third period power play goal, assisted by Vandane, proved to be the game winner.
Mychan pulled the Bombers within one before time ran out for Flin Flon.
