Estevan chamber to host all-candidates’ forum

The Estevan Chamber of Commerce will host an all-candidates' forum for the upcoming federal election.

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Chamber of Commerce will host an all-candidates forum for the upcoming federal election.

In a news release, the chamber said the public will have the opportunity to hear from their local candidates. The forum will be held on Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion’s Estevan branch.

Access Communications will be present for the evening and the recording will be available for viewing after the event.

Leading up to the elections, the Estevan Chamber will be accepting submitted questions by email to executivedirector@estevanchamber.ca or by phone at 306-637-2151. These questions will be used during the all-candidates forums.

As of Thursday morning, the candidates for the election in Souris-Moose Mountain were Javin Ames-Sinclair (Liberal Party), Greg Douglas (Maverick Party), Robert Kitchen (Conservative Party) and Diane Neufeld (People's Party of Canada). Kitchen is the incumbent. 

The federal election is Sept. 20.
