CCS Coaches Thomas Lowes and Leona Kitchen are pleased with what they've seen from the cross-country team this season.
"This has been a great season with so many improvements. There are many more admirable qualities that are developed throughout our short season, that far outweigh the "placement" at the end of a race. Commitment, determination, persistence, perseverance, and dedication are a few that will make these athletes into successful people. We, as a school, are so proud of all of our cross-country runners and how they represent CCS so positively at every race they attend."
For five CCS runners, there is one more meet left in the 2022 season. Qualifying for provincials to be held at Wapiti Valley Ski Hill on Oct. 15 were: Ty Lemaigre, Kayden Harder, Hunter Lamb, Porter Wolkowski and Jack Craig.
