Dr. Brass School students 'Jump Rope for Heart' in Yorkton

YORKTON - The gymnasium at Dr. Brass School was a busy locale Wednesday as students once again participated in Jump Rope for Heart.

The event, in its second year at the school saw students from throughout the grades jumping rope, with the help of members of the Yorkton Maulers hockey team.

While jumping rope was obviously fun for students, they were also gaining knowledge about heart and lung wellness, offered principal Noel Budz.

The event was also a fundraiser with the school raising $400.
