The past few months have brought many changes and upgrades to some of the recreational facilities and there are more upgrades to come.
“As summer quickly passes, it is the time to consider all the recreation opportunities that exist in our area,” said Andrea Tonn, recreation director. “There is a information and registration night being held on September 8. This night is an opportunity for you to explore and register for all the programs being offered.
“The recreation board will also be hosting a canoe/kayak clinic on September 3 and 4 which will be hosted by Canoe/Kayak Saskatchewan. This clinic will be offered to high school students and to the general public. There will be a level 1 certification course offered to the general public.”
