Stock Car Fall Classic a Fan Favorite

Weekend invitational closes 2017 racing season

One of the biggest fan favorite events of racing fans in Outlook took place last weekend when the Outlook Stock Car Association hosted the 7th annual Fall Classic Invitational weekend of dirt-flying, engine-screaming action.

Over three dozen hobby stock, street stock and truck stock vehicles registered for the event, which took place over the Thanksgiving long weekend and brought out tons of fans over the course of two days of racing, who didn’t mind the windy weather on Saturday or the drop in temperature on Sunday, as well as the presence of even a little snowfall during the powder puff race.

The action brought out stock car drivers from all around the province and beyond due to the fact that the yearly weekend event, which closes the racing season for Outlook, is the biggest race on a dirt track in the province.

With the 2017 racing season done for another year, the stock car club is grateful for the support of event sponsors and race fans that helped make another season of Outlook racing action a success.
