The Kamsack River Valley Archery Club (RVAC) held its first 3-D shoot for members and guests recently, and are hoping to make this an annual event.

Nominations are open to fill the councillor position vacated by Jared Ruf on Kamsack town council. The deadline for nominations will be on August 21 at 4 p.m.

The 6th annual Smoke on the Water community fundraiser is in the books, and by all accounts according to the organizers, it was a “rousing success.

Kamsack RCMP responded to a total of 105 calls for service in the week of July 28 to August 3. Of those calls, 35 were in the Town of Kamsack.

A unique opportunity for residents of Kamsack and area to discover exciting stories from their past is being presented in Yorkton in September.

On August 8, the Canora RCMP executed a Search Warrant of a large indoor and outdoor marijuana grow operation, according to an RCMP release. The Search Warrant was executed at a rural property near the hamlet of Tadmore.

Local artists brought paintings, sketches, photography, jewellery and more to the OCC Hall in Kamsack. The Kamsack Powerhouse Museum sponsored the 3 rd annual Artist’s Day on July 14, with 10 artists in attendance.

Kamsack RCMP responded to a total of 67 calls for service in the week of July 7 to 13. Of those calls, 34 were in the Town of Kamsack.

Students of the Good Spirit School Division will be returning to class on September 3, the day after Labour Day, for the 2019-20 school year.

A woman who is walking across Canada on The Great Trail, formerly known as the Trans Canada Trail, stopped briefly in Kamsack.
