Meeting the needs of seniors in the community is the challenge faced by the Yorkton New Horizons.

Every year, the Pinoy Fiesta celebrates the anniversary of the independence of the Philippines though music, dance and food. This year marks the eighth annual day of celebration in Yorkton.

It’s called the main street for a reason, the traditional place that people have congregated throughout Canada.

Rental units have been at a premium in Yorkton for several years, but now a new building has opened in the city which should give some relief to the market.

From June 1–30, 2015 Creative Saskatchewan hosted an exhibition, Canadian Indigenous Contemporary Art From Saskatchewan ‘the Prairie Province’, in London, England.

A rainy morning dampened nothing but the ground Saturday as the Exhibition Parade made its way down Broadway Street. Spirits were still high during the parade, with floats featuring businesses and clubs all across the city.

History Alive! Vignettes features theatrical performances, depicting life at Government House from 1898 – 1910 and at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building during 1911 and 1919.

The Government of Saskatchewan has announced that the City of Swift Current will host the Western Canada Summer Games in 2019.
