A 26-year-old Yorkton woman was sentenced to a one-year conditional sentence on 11 counts of theft under $5,000. Alana Gordon appeared in court January 14 for sentencing after lengthy negotiations with the Crown.

Wendell Estate Honey bagged a dragon Sunday. The MacNutt, SK.-based honey producer appeared on CBC's Dragon's Den seeking an investment of $200,000 to help them produce and market an upscale honey product.
