The Paper Bag Papers are looking for talent. The local theatre group is holding auditions for its next pair of plays, and whether someone is more comfortable with comedy or drama, they’ve got a play for you.

Over 100 friends and family gathered together on Saturday, August 31st to hold a golf tournament in memory of Don Happy and to celebrate his life.

Yorkton Crossing is the host of a car show Sunday afternoon, with a wide range of vintage metal on display. Food and music are also at the event, which runs all afternoon, and anyone with a special set of wheels is invited to put them on display.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton and Area are hosting a barbecue outside of Hairisma. A place to stop for lunch, they are also offering tickets on their quad draw at the same time.

On the night of Tuesday September 3, 2019 or the early morning of Wednesday September 4, 2019, 4 Good Year 20" P275/60R20 tires and rims were stolen off of a vehicle in the 200 block of Hamilton Road in Yorkton.

A big change has happened in the Gallagher Centre. The concession stand has a new sponsor, new look, and new chef working behind the scenes.

The Holy Trinity Anglican church was the host of a garage sale of their own, with a variety of deals for shoppers to find, spread across two rooms in the church. The sale also includes baked goods for the hungry bargain hunter.
