Mavrick McDonald and George McDonald will spend another night in cells following an adjournment December 13 at Yorkton Provincial Court.
The brothers are charged with the theft Tuesday night of approximately $200 from the Loaf N' Jug convenience store on Parkview Avenue in Yorkton. Mavrick faces an additional charge of wearing a mask while committing an indictable offence.
Defence Attorney David Bright petitioned for the McDonalds' release on bail, but the Crown, represented by Darryl Bode opposed. The hearing was adjourned until December 14 for the Crown to show cause why the brothers should not be released.
