The Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) organization held their annual Bowl for Kids Sake fundraiser on April 19 to 21 at the Yorkton Bowl Arena. The event included a two hour glow bowling session, beef on a bun and guaranteed prizes for individuals who raised over $50 in pledges. Over 200 people participated raising more than $39,00.00 which helps to fund Yorkton and area mentoring programs. The top seven people who pledged the highest will attend an awards ceremony on May 1. The person with the highest pledge will either receive a West Jet flight voucher for two anywhere in Canada or the United States mainland, or $1000 in cash.
