Break-in at Theodore post office

On Sunday, October 24, the Yorkton Rural RCMP Detachment attended to Theodore, SK where the Canada Post Office was broken into.The suspect(s) used force to gain access to the building by prying a steel door open.

On Sunday, October 24, the Yorkton Rural RCMP Detachment attended to Theodore, SK where the Canada Post Office was broken into.The suspect(s) used force to gain access to the building by prying a steel door open. Once inside, they removed an undetermined amount of postal-related retail items.Currently there are no suspects and RCMP are asking the public for their assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible.

Marijuana bust on reserveOn Friday, October 2, members of the Kamsack RCMP Detachment conducted a search of a residence on the Cote First Nation as part of an investigation into a person's trafficking inmarihuana.

As a result of the search, a quantity ofmarihuana along with cash was seized from the house. A 53-year-old female resident of the house was arrested and charged with possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking as well as possession of property obtained by crime. She has been remanded in custody and appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on Monday, October 25. Cote First Nation is located just north of Kamsack, approximately 80 km northeast of Yorkton.
