The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) is pleased to announce the largest prize ever to be received from a SIGA Casino, after one of our players won the Smoke Signals progressive slot jackpot on March 6, 2014 at Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert.

Doris Staflund, is a registered nurse from Prince Albert, SK and she was at the Northern Lights Casino on her way home from an appointment when she decided to stop in and play $20. She hit the $1,159,434.80 jackpot!

The last time SIGA had a payout close to this size was in 2011 at the Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton. A retired farmer from the small town of Canora, SK won $985,969.
Smoke Signals is SIGA's largest progressive jackpot. It is a wide-area progressive that links slot machines from all six SIGA casinos. It starts at $250,000 and builds ("progresses") as people play, until someone wins the major jackpot.
In the spring of 2014 patrons will see the renewal of 44 existing machines that make up the Smoke Signals bank, and see a change in the physical structure of the Smoke Signal progressives. For patrons this will mean new exciting games and the opportunity to leave our casinos winning big.
