Nominations are now being accepted for eight Directors to serve on the 2016 Board of the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce.
Joel Martinuk, President of the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce, urges Chamber members to consider allowing their names to stand for nomination. “With over 460 members, there is a great deal of talent in the Yorkton Chamber,” he said. “The Board would like to have these people share their time and talent with the Chamber as it serves the business community.”
Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 pm Friday October 30. Nomination forms are available on the Chamber’s website yorktonchamber.com or at the Chamber office.
Juanita Polegi, Executive Director indicated there are a couple of conditions potential candidates must meet in order to be eligible to be nominated. “Nominees must be members in good standing and they must have the signatures of two other members on their nomination form,” she said.
