Yorkton Council approved a major road work tender at its regular meeting Monday.
Engineering Services received the results for a road works tender for C.J. Houston, York Colony Phase I and the Roundhouse Commercial Subdivision.
"The tender consists of work on three subdivisions to install curb and gutter, sidewalks and road structure," explained Gord Shaw, director of planning and engineering with the City.
This work is to be completed this year subject to weather conditions.
The two tenders received were from Fedorowich Construction at $2,241,200 and R.J. Tulik for $3,163,134.
Council approved the lower of the two tenders by a unanimous vote.
