Loreen Poier, co-owner of York-Sask Dry Cleaners, says her business will definitely re-open following a fire at the First Avenue Location Tuesday night.
Loreen and husband/co-owner Doug were devastated, but she said the support they have received has been inspiring.
"This community of Yorkton rises to the occasion every time," she said.
The fire broke out in the basement mechanical room at approximately 10 p.m. on November 27. Firefighters contained the blaze to the basement and extinguished it in about an hour.
The couple is meeting with their insurance adjuster today. They have no firm idea of when they might be back in business or how much customer clothing will be salvageable.
"Everything is really seriously smoke-damaged, even though it was covered," she said.
