Father's Day at the Western Development Museum

In recognition of Special Olympics Athletes from our region attending the 2014 Special Olympics National Summer Games, Parkland Valley Special Olympics will be hosting a Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) and BBQ on Sat., June 14.

In recognition of Special Olympics Athletes from our region attending the 2014 Special Olympics National Summer Games, Parkland Valley Special Olympics will be hosting a Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) and BBQ on Sat., June 14. The run will commence at 10:15 a.m. at the Gallagher Centre and will proceed down Broadway Ave. to the City Centre Park. A fundraiser BBQ, including hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks will take place from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. All funds raised will go toward athlete programming in our local region. Tickets will also be sold, at the BBQ, for a Saskatchewan Roughriders' George Reed Jersey to support the provincial Special Olympics organization. Safeway Canada has sponsored the jersey and raffle tickets will be sold at $5.00 each. Saskatchewan Lottery License #SR14-0318.

Father's Day at the Western Development Museum. Join us as we celebrate Father's Day on Sun., June 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In honour of their special day, all Dad's and their families are invited to spend a relaxing afternoon at the Museum. The first 50 gentlemen in attendance will receive a special gift and have their name entered in the door prize draws. Complimentary donuts and refreshments will be served.
