Eleven intricately decorated Christmas trees were auctioned off at the YAIL Harbor’s Pathway Homes Project “Festival of Trees” held at the Painted Hand Casino Friday evening. Proceeds from the event go towards building homes for people with cognitive and physical disabilities. Several businesses around Yorkton donated trees and gift certificates to the cause. The white, owl-filled tree donated by Deneschuk Homes was the top seller of the night, at $475.
