I am pleased to announce that Nature Saskatchewan and the Yellowhead Flyway Birding Trail Association are sponsoring the screening of Carpe Diem: A Fishy Tale. This is a must-see documentary simply to witness the jumping prowess of the Asian Carp, a species released into the Mississippi River more than 30 years ago. The film shows how experts are trying to find ways to prevent the spread of this aquatic invader into the Great Lakes. Come and discuss everything "fishy" with our panel: filmmaker Charlotte Engel, Adam Matichuk of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation and Rob Wilson of Nature Saskatchewan.
