Canadian Tire raised just over $1,500 from a barbecue, games and face painting event on May 31 for the store's Jumpstart program. Jumpstart helps outfit children whose families cannot afford to enrol them in organized sports get involved. The weekend event brings the total raised to more than $1,800 with the ongoing sales of red Jumpstart balls in-store.
