Two suspects are in custody following an armed robbery in Kamsack on the weekend.
On Saturday, John Gordon Bradshaw, 35, allegedly entered the SARCAN location in Kamsack wearing a mask and wielding a spear gun. After uttering threats and brandishing the weapon, he and an accomplice, Brittany Jung, 26, made off with an undisclosed sum of money.
They were quickly apprehended with the help of the Yorkton Police Dog Service and Yorkton Forensic Identification Services and remanded until their first appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court Monday.
The judge adjourned the case until Tuesday in Kamsack.
Kamsack RCMP Sgt. Daryl Andruziak said no one was injured during the incident.
Bradshaw is charged with robbery with a firearm, uttering threats, disguise with intent to commit a crime, possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
He could face up to 14 years in prison.
Jung is charged with robbery with a firearm.
