Girl Guides are famous for their cookies, but on May 4 took their fundraising to a whole new level transforming Yorkdale School into a giant trade show. Local vendors selling all kinds of wares donated a portion of their profits from the event toward a trip to Puerto Rico 28 Guides and 10 leaders will take in July. The Guides also had raffle draws, face painting and other activities to raise extra funds and, of course, there were also plenty of the signature Girl Guide cookies available as well.
