You are invited to hear the voices of the future at St. Mary's Cultural Centre on Dec. 6, 2012 - the anniversary date of the Montreal massacre. Every year the Partnership Against Violence Committee sheds light on violence by hosting a candle light vigil honoring the victims of and survivors of violence. This year local students will be sharing personal experiences with domestic violence, bullying and empowerment. Youth support will be evidenced by representation from the Harvest and Terrier hockey teams, the public & separate schools and various community groups. The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a program of guest speakers, lighting of candles and culminate with complimentary refreshments. The Yorkton Antique Auto Association meets at the Western Development Museum in Yorkton on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. "Where old cars are discussed enthusiastically." While enthusiasm for old vehicles is required, ownership is not.
