“The Health Foundation is one of the key charities we choose to support,” said Charles Ryder, General Manager of the Painted Hand Casino. “We support most of the events The Health Foundation holds, and we choose to support their events as that helps the community get involved in the fundraising of The Health Foundation. After all, all of the funds raised at their events help to purchase valuable medical equipment that will enhance the healthcare for everyone in this region.”
“We support those efforts because healthcare affects all of us, and we all deserve to have the best healthcare possible, continued Mr. Ryder. As well, Painted Hand Casino makes a point of giving back to the community. We like to invest back into the community in a variety of ways, and healthcare is just one of the community issues we support.”
We also employ over 200 people and they and their families use the healthcare system as well. That’s another reason why we feel it’s important to support The Health Foundation.
“This year we have given $10,000 to The Health Foundation because they are raising money for a new CT scanner, which will have clear benefits for everyone in this region. New technology means better images for diagnosis; that means medical conditions will be detected earlier and that can save lives”, continued Mr. Ryder.
“The Painted Hand Casino has been a strong supporter of our work for many years, and we appreciate how they give back to the community and support our work. We also appreciate how they support other organizations, whose work is also about making our communities better places to live and raise families,” said Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation.
“We hope other businesses and individuals will think about making contributions also. This new CT scanner is one of the most vital pieces of equipment we have had to raise money for, and we still need many more donations before we can buy the equipment,” continue Mr. Fisher.
