QUILTS! - March 6 to April 21, 2011. The Godfrey Dean Art Gallery is pleased to present Connections, an exhibition of art quilts by three Edmonton area quilters. Connections features 36 pieces, including contemporary art quilts, framed assemblages, mixed media, soft sculpture, interactive and three-dimensional pieces.

ROAD2LIGHT - New photography by Taisha Rudoski, March 6 to April 29, 2011. Road2Light is a series of photographs taken with a Blackberry cellphone, featuring portraits of people, landscapes and luscious fruit. Vivid colours and a unique perspective on her world bring the photographs to life.

The Bereaved Parents of Yorkton, a support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at 7 p.m. at the SIGN Building at 83 North Street, Yorkton. We will be hold general sharing sessions and discussing chapters from the book "Surviving the Loss of a Child - Support for Grieving Parents" by Elizabeth B Brown.
