What a delightful surprise to receive the Best Buy School Tech Grant. St. Mary’s School, of Yorkton, was provided with a $1500 grant for assistance toward continuing the much loved, and well-received Reflex Math Program. The trial program last year provided practice for our students’ in mathematical fluency.
St. Mary’s is always seeking the best possible opportunities for the best quality education regardless of socio-economic backgrounds. Programs that even the playing field, and hold equal opportunity in high regard, are greatly appreciated by teachers and professional educators. Every student is our priority in terms of preparing and providing the best possible advantage as they go forth into the rapidly changing world of technology; so you must know how elated we were when this mandate matched our vision!
We are so excited to celebrate this great news with our students and our community!
It broke our hearts in June to lose the possibly of continuing this pilot due to funding restrictions.
