The ‘Hunger is Scary’ food drive held at Halloween in the city had 42 volunteers who collected a few hundred of bags of food. The response from each house approached was very positive. The group wishes it could have went to every house in Yorkton but hope that it will continue to grow and eventually be possible in the future.
