Twenty up for Employee of the Year

Twenty nominations have been received for the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce 4th Annual Employee of the Year Award.

Twenty nominations have been received for the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce 4th Annual Employee of the Year Award.

The intent of the Award is for employers and the community to recognize outstanding service by employees to their places of employment and to the community.

Dolores Harris, Chair of the Chamber's Marketing and Communications Committee is pleased with the quality of this year's nominees. "The people that have been nominated are truly committed to their places of employment and to providing service to their customers," she said. "All nominees are worthy candidates for the Employee of the Year Award".

Selection of the Employee of the Year will occur through a vote by Chamber membership on the Chamber website. Each Chamber member will have the opportunity to cast one vote for the nominee considered most deserving of the Award. Photos and biographies of the nominees will be posted on the Chamber website (www.yorktonchamber.com). Voting will take place the week of May 10.

The Employee of the Year Award will be presented at the Employee Recognition Event to be held May 19 at St. Mary's Cultural Centre.
