RCMP Cpl. Pierre-Hughes Lortie takes down a suspect on Third Avenue Sunday afternoon. Tara Martin, 24, fled from the officer after being pulled over for failing to obey a stop sign. She pleaded guilty in Yorkton court Monday morning to assaulting a police officer, driving with a blood alcohol content over .08, failing to obey a stop sign and driving while suspended. She received six months in jail because of a prior conviction for assaulting a police officer.
