UPDATE: Ice in fuel line cause of Kisbey plane crash

Investigators from the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) say ice in a fuel line is responsible for the crash of a Piper Cherokee 6 near Kisbey last Sunday.

Investigators from the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) say ice in a fuel line is responsible for the crash of a Piper Cherokee 6 near Kisbey last Sunday.

Peter Hildebrand, TSB regional operations manager explained the small aircraft's engine failed after the pilot switched tanks about 25 minutes into a flight originating in Carlyle Easter morning.

In addition John Erickson, a Regina pilot and flight instructor there were three adults and two children on board. None, except Erickson were seriously injured. Erickson received back surgery on Tuesday.
