Yorkton Council gave final approval to a Discretionary Use application for a dwelling Manufacturing Facility (Off-Site) at 351 and 371 Imperial Street at its regular meeting Monday.

This photo from the Jackson Collection shows: on the left, the Yorkton Flour Mill built in 1898. Today, 114 years later, the Mill building is still standing and being considered for restoration.

The City of Yorkton is moving ahead to amalgamate its public transit bus system with those of Saskatchewan Abilities and SIGN.

Chris Stoubis and Ted Karacholias of Melrose Place, presented a cheque for $2,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation. The donation will assist paying for the conceptual plan for a new regional hospital.
