The Willowbrook Lions Club recently donated $1,000 to assist the purchase of new Operating Room equipment and Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) pain medication pumps.

This past February, Mr. Wayne Clark, Yorkton Regional High School senior science teacher, escorted seven scientifically-minded students to the Canadian Light Source (Synchrotron) in Saskatoon.

Students in Yorkton last week took part in a nationwide program designed to increase young Canadians' understanding of their democracy.
