Yail Harbor Inc. appeared before the regular meeting of Yorkton Council seeking a tax exemption on property where six units belonging to Pathway Homes. The exemption was granted for five years in 2013, but came to an end after 2018.

Councillor Randy Goulden wants the City to develop a strategy to create safe play zones around City parks, with a focus on parks with play structures, spray parks and outdoor rinks.

The City of Yorkton will be consolidating and expanding the awards it may bestow upon local citizens after a decision by Yorkton Council at its regular meeting Monday.
