Christmas is coming, and kids went to the Yorkton Public Library to get their lists in order and sent their requests to Santa Claus. Pictured, Mason McDowell took the time to make some art for Father Christmas.

In July a fundraising barbecue was held at Giant Tiger Yorkton. Giant Tiger supplied the food and condiments. Knights of Columbus Father Delaere Council No.5182 and Habitat for Humanity provided the manpower to prepare and serve the food.

A Paint & Sparkle Christmas Class was hosted by All About Flowers & All About Gourmet, Gifts & Homedecor Thursday. It was an evening to learn how to paint wooden items with a Christmas flavour.

The ‘Hunger is Scary’ food drive held at Halloween in the city had 42 volunteers who collected a few hundred of bags of food. The response from each house approached was very positive.
