The Kinsmen Club of Yorkton has contributed $50,000 to the revitalization of Kin Point at York Lake. The money will go toward a new playground structure to be installed in the Spring of 2017.

On February 25, 1954, a ceremony was held at the Legion Hall regarding the Legion’s donation of a respirator to the Yorkton Hospital. The evening was presided over by Mayor C.G. Langrill.

The public can gain some insights into the candidates for the upcoming municipal election by attending a pair of events scheduled for October. The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the events.
