The Yorkton Regional 4-H Beef Show and Sale was held as part of the annual Yorkton Exhibition. While storm conditions kept some expected participants at home, the event still attracted 4H clubs and their members from throughout the region.

The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS) is the first medical service in Canada to begin stocking blood in advance for life-saving transfusions on air medical missions. The STARS base in Saskatoon is now the third base to come on line.

Heavy rains and high winds across the prairies over the weekend resulted in localized flooding, flooded basements, sewer back-up issues, wind damages to trees and property and transportation problems due to road closures.
