Invermay health centre reopening

Residents and staff will soon return to the Invermay Health Centre. Interior work in the resident areas is slated for completion by end of September, noted a report presented to the September meeting of the Sunrise Health Board held last Wednesday.

A 20-year-old B.C. woman has been acquitted of possession of the proceeds of cocaine trafficking in Yorkton Provincial Court. Madelaine Esquivel was arrested in January, one of 20 individuals caught up in a five-month multi-agency RCMP sting.
