Snailhouse is making his way to Yorkton as part of a show at 5th Avenue Cup & Saucer Monday, June 18. Snailhouse is the stage persona of soloist Michael Feuerstack, who was born in Winnipeg, but grew up on the East Coast.

Noise bylaw exemptions

City Council granted two temporary exceptions to Yorkton's noise bylaw at its regular meeting Monday. Janet Sharpe, manager of the Parkland Unit, Canadian Cancer Society made one of the requests.

Bins get Council go-ahead

Yorkton Council approved a discretionary use for 152 Myrtle Avenue at its regular meeting Monday. The request to construct a series of grain storage bins at a flax processor on the property first appeared before Council May 28.
