Saturday morning was the perfect weather for the walk/run of Bernie’s Journey, an event honouring Bernie Wlock, a Yorkton resident with cancer.

Safety was the word of the day at the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon June 18.

Police responded en masse Monday after receiving a complaint of a youth at Yorkton Regional High School possibly in possession of a firearm.

The second annual Gutsy Walk took place recently at the Brodie-Winchester pathway near the skate park. The Gutsy Walk is a fundraising effort across Canada to continue research programs that will eventually put an end to Crohn’s Disease and Colitis.
