A public inquest into the death of Deanna Whitecap will be held October 28 to November 1, 2019, at the Holiday Inn and Suites at 1800 Prince of Wales Drive in Regina. The first day of the inquest is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Break and Enter to garage and theft of vehicle Sometime between September 15 and September 16, Canora/Sturgis RCMP responded to a break and enter and theft in Preeceville. There was a break-in to a back yard garage.

The MacKenzie Art Gallery has announced the appointment of Felicia Gay to the position of Curatorial Fellow. Gay’s position is a cross-appointment with the University of Regina through a Mitacs funded fellowship and runs until April 2021.
