A songwriter, two male trios and a flamenco guitarist make up the four Stars for Saskatchewan concerts being brought to Kamsack by the Kamsack Arts Council during the 2016-17 season.

On August 13, Kamsack RCMP was called to a residence on the Cote First Nation to a report of an unresponsive female, said a release from the RCMP dated Friday.
