Area Man Charged in Outlook Robbery

Suspect implied he had gun, fled the scene

A local area man is facing two charges including robbery following an incident that happened at the Outlook Florist & Gifts store last week.

Sgt. Mark Langager of the Outlook RCMP reports that on Wednesday, February 21 at approximately 3:00 pm, a lone male entered the business located on the 200 block of Franklin Street in Outlook and implied that he was carrying a weapon.  The man demanded cash from the employee and then proceeded to flee the scene.  Further investigation led to his arrest and two charges laid against the suspect.

RCMP received the report of the robbery at 3:10 pm.

Forty-four year old Craig Stadler of the Outlook area is charged with:

Robbery, s. 344(1)(b) CC;
Wearing a disguise with intent, s. 351 (2) CC;

Stadler made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court in Saskatoon on Friday, February 23.  The case was adjourned to Tuesday, February 27.
